The high temperature mesh belt as a common type of stainless steel mesh belts, which is suitable to be used in high temperature furnace above 800 degrees. It is usually used in the annealing furnaces, quenching furnaces and brazing furnaces. There are many precautions in the production process, among which degreasing is an important detail to extend the service life of the high temperature mesh belt.
For one thing, in the drawing and annealing process of metal wires, a carbonized film will be formed on their surface, and the lubricating oil used will remain. For another, the lubricating oil is also used when spirals are woven into the high temperature mesh belt. So that the grease sticks to the surface of the mesh belt.
If the manufacturer omits the degreasing step after the high temperature mesh belt is made, then when it is used, under the high temperature condition, the heated grease will produce oily fume and carbon deposition, making the mesh belt produce chromium carbide, which will accelerate the oxidation, embrittlement and even fracture of the high temperature mesh belt.
Therefore, degreasing the high temperature mesh belt cannot be ignored. After ultrasonic cleaning, the high temperature mesh belt with clean surface and no oil can enter the following welding process.
